surface interactions
Molecular Profiles has developed novel methods that can quantitatively evaluate interactions between materials at the single molecule and particulate level. Based on the ability to measure pico Newton forces through the application of atomic force microscopy and kinetics through surface plasmon resonance applications are found across the complete spectrum of drug delivery systems. Screening can be achieved with milligram or less of material to determine biocompatibility, measure cohesive / adhesive forces of interactions between potential formulation components and probe mechanical properties at the single particle and molecule level.
